Biography
Yiu Man So (MSEE) has been a Sr. Principle Engineer/Project Chief Engineer at Raytheon Company (formally Hughes Aircraft Company) for the past 32 years. He has worked for several other electronics companies prior to Raytheon. He holds two U.S. patents and co-authored several technical journal articles and conference papers in the field of laser optics & radio frequency. He is also a seasoned IT consultant with over 20 years of experience in serving the commercial industry. Through his many involvements within the community, Mr. So has demonstrated a passion for inspiring younger generations in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Yiu Man So has delivered motivational speeches at numerous locations, including high schools, colleges and universities and Asian American events. He recently received high praise for a keynote speech delivered at a local INS office.
